A report for National Grid Electricity Distribution

This report explores the accessibility of domestic flexibility services within the region covered by National Grid Distribution System Operator (DSO). The Centre for Sustainable Energy was commissioned by National Grid Distribution System Operator to understand which households are participating in their flexibility markets, identify potential barriers to participation, and provide recommendations for increasing equity in access to these services.
The overall objective of this research is to ensure that vulnerable and low-income consumers are not excluded from the benefits of flexibility services, which play a crucial role in supporting the transition to a low-carbon energy system.
